NBH Rotary was one of the main sponsors of this effort to equalize funding for BHSU from the Regents and the State Legislature.
We love BHSU, and we had a fun and educational day at the Capitol. Here are some of our activities
- Meet with the SD Board of Regents, Department of Education, Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Department of Tourism
- Enjoy Lunch with our District 31 Legislators
- Join us on the balcony of the House and Senate Galleries
- Wrap up the day with an evening reception
7 Rotarians + a former Rotarian attended this event. One of the legislators was heard exclaiming: "Did they bring the whole town?" Sounds like a successful day--hopefully BHSU will see positive results in its future budgets.
