NBH Rotarians enjoyed lunching with District 1020 Scottish Rotarians from Larbert, Castle Douglas, Whitburn and Livingston at Redwater Cafe on August 19. We were intrigued to learn about Scotland's Falkirk Wheel that connects two canals that flow at different altitudes, and they were fascinated to meet our real Wyoming cattle rancher, Nels Smith.
This trip was facilitated by Rotary's Friendship Exchange program which undergirds Rotary's "International" focus. And despite the Scottish "burr," we didn't need a translator
