When Monument Health caseworker Dale Pinkerton asked who in Spearfish could help with a disabled client's move, someone said: "Try the Rotary club."
Dale contacted NBH Rotary via our website email, and that started the ball rolling. His client "D" had just been awarded increased disability benefits allowing him to move into a spacious apartment at Hickory House. He was looking for some strong backs and a trailer to move some furniture, a microwave, and a few boxes.

Five Rotarians, two guests, three trucks and a horse trailer were deployed on a breezy, sunny day to facilitate the cross-town move, which took all of 40 minutes. Dale and his client were thrilled, and the movers were left with warm hearts.

Service above self!
