The Spearfish Chamber of Commerce presented NBH Rotarian Rick Furnish with its Lifetime Achievement award at its March 2 banquet.
Rick Furnish has been an outstanding member of the Spearfish community for the last 30 years. He has helped play a huge role in the development and growth of Spearfish. Rick Furnish has been a realtor for over 20 years, and the managing broker/owner of Landmark Realty & Development for over 15 years. Prior to his real estate career Rick was a vocal music teacher, but the Black Hills called!

Rick has been active in the local Board of Realtors and is a past board president. He has been awarded Realtor of the Year. He has also served on the boards of the Realtors for Kids, South Dakota Association of Realtors, Black Hills Christian Academy, Spearfish Leadercast, and Hope Ranch. Music is still important to Rick, and he uses his talents on the worship team at Countryside Church here in Spearfish.

Rick is a skilled Realtor in the real estate industry, but his passion is people. Helping people have a positive experience and providing great
customer service with integrity. You can always count on Rick to be helping others. He truly cares about everyone and always has a smile on his face.
Rick is an advocate for landing South Dakota Kids Belong. which is a state breakoff from America’s Kids Belong. This is a non-profit organization that empowers leaders in government, faith based, business, and creative sectors to end the crisis for kids in foster care. This organization is true to Rick’s heart as him and his wife Vicki have three adopted children. Rick and Vicki have loved raising their four children in Spearfish and could not think of a better place to live.

Rick epitomizes Rotary's motto: Service Above Self. Congratulations!
