The Metallophone outdoor musical instrument is installed and ready for passers-by to play as they enjoy the beauty of the Spearfish Recreation Path.
Thanks to the Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation for the vision that our club was able to fund, to Ainsworth-Benning, and to the City of Spearfish Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department for their contributions.
The Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation is in the process of creating a Sensory Exploration Trail along the Spearfish Recreation Path. Those strolling the path connecting the city's parks can now enjoy a music stop in addition to the other benefits of spending time outdoors. Outdoor play gives everyone a positive boost, helping us to be healthier and happier all around.
