On April 24, BHSU Rotaract and Northern Black Hills Rotary clubs presented the Artemis House with a check for $1,000 to purchase cell phones for its clients.
The Artemis House provides services relating to two of the six Rotary Areas of Service: Maternal and Child Health, and Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution. Rotaract is the college-age and young-professional arm of Rotary. BHSU Rotaract raised almost $500 at its November, 2018, cornhole competition fundraiser which was matched by the Rotary club that meets in Spearfish.
