The Pilgrims at 400: Part 2 of 2

Dr. Nickisch, Idaho State University Professor Emeritus of Foreign Languages, describes the Pilgrims’ tenuous selection of Plymouth for their colony, and offers a number of little-known stories which hope to make the Pilgrims “come alive” in their building of the settlement.  A number of significant events are described, especially in their interactions with the native peoples, the first Thanksgiving, and to cap off the first year, the arrival of  additional Puritans from Leiden on the Fortune.
