Women in Science event at BHSU

BHSU's Women in Science program is a free one-day career learning workshop designed to educate 7th- and 8th-grade women about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

By showcasing successful women as positive role models, BHSU hopes to encourage students to take the math and science track through middle and high school and eventually pursue engaging and successful STEM careers. Attendees spend the entire day at BHSU and visit with at least five local women in STEM careers, eat lunch in the cafeteria and tour the exhibit hall. The event's keynote speaker will be Rhonda Lee, Chief Meteorologist, KOTA Territory News.
