Shauna Junek, Director of Development and Planned Giving at Black Hills State University, has joined the Northern Black Hills Rotary Club to further her community service. She believes deeply in Rotary International’s high commitment to service, integrity, and civic responsibility.

Serving with Rotary complements Mrs. Junek’s commitment to the Spearfish Community.  Some of her activities include Girl Scouts of America, the American Heart Association, 100 Women for Community Impact, previous member of the Spearfish Chamber Board of Directors and being a strong supporter of all things BHSU. In her role as Director of Development and Planned Giving she works with donors to fulfill their philanthropic goals by creating scholarships, leaving a gift to BHSU in their estate plan, or supporting specific programs and projects. 

Black Hills State University in Spearfish is a regional, comprehensive public institution that provides access to a high education for aspiring students and serves as a regional economic leader. Graduates like Mrs. Junek (B.S., 1998) make significant contributions to the workforce and the betterment of their communities.
